Yariv Hen

My name is Yariv and I am a native Israeli, born in 1974. After serving in the Infantry Corps in the Israeli Army and spurred on by my love of exploring the diverse terrain that Israel has to offer, I signed up do a tour guide’s course. I qualified as an  Israel private tour guide in the year 2000 and started to lead guided tours all over the country. In 2004 I topped off my education by graduating from the University of Ben Gurion with a Humanities degree.

I am experienced in guiding a wide variety of groups, including Christians, Jews, families and individuals.

I believe that the best way to achieve a total experience in this country is by taking a  tour of Israel with a native Israeli guide. A local guide knows the ins and outs of the region, speaks the language and understands the culture and temperament of the people.  Touring in Israel accompanied by a private tour guide gives you the added benefit of discovering places you never would have found alone and enhances your trip immensely.

For me, touring Israel is one of life's pleasures and I am blessed that one of my passions has become my profession. I feel that I not only have the knowledge to provide high quality tours of Israel but also have the necessary personal qualities to be an effective guide; a love of the country, a good sense of humor and a lot of patience!
